Information for developers
If you just want to track the progress of the Elefant project you are welcome to do so via the subversion repository. Detailed instructions for access can be found here. You are also welcome to participate in the discussions on the mailing lists.
Becoming a registered Elefant developer with write privileges requires you to show commitment and involvement in the Elefant project. There are no fixed rules when you are ready to apply for a registration. The best way to get involved is to report bugs and to try your hand at fixing a few bugs yourself. Send in patch files to the developers mailing list. If you consistently show high levels of involvement and submit many high quality patches then we will invite you to be a developer. Even if you are not a developer you can help the Elefant project by reporting bugs.

Patches to Fix Bugs/Implement New Features
These are very welcome! They need conform to coding guidelines and you must agree to release your code under the free MPL licence before they can make into our repository. But if you don't wish to do this, anything is better than nothing, and we can use your work as a base. Read our FAQ for information on how to get your patch submitted to us. Before going off and implementing a new feature it is a good idea to discuss with the developers on the developers mailing list.

Search for bugs in Elefant, as well as trying out pending patches in the bug system.
